  1. Read the latest newsline today 23 January 2024. Why is there no notification of Resourxce Consent for Mapua Boat Ramp Trust … was supposed to be in this Newsline. I have spent nearly an hour This trying to find it on Council’s website. All searches come up with nothing. This is not good enough.
There should’ve been a link where people can easily and quickly, get the relevant information in big black writing, well publicising, not hidden.

    1. Hi Gaye, I’m sorry to hear you had trouble finding an update on resource consent, that must have been frustrating. It was due to be announced on 26 January, which is probably why you couldn’t find it in the Newsline on 23 January.
On the Council’s website you can find it here: https://www.tasman.govt.nz/my-property/resource-consents-and-subdivision/current-publicly-notified-resource-consent-applications/applications-awaiting-hearings/mapua-community-boat-ramp-trust/
So to navigate via the website headings, you would go to My Property, Resource consents and subdivision, Current publicly notified resource consent applications, Applications awaiting hearings.
Perhaps you could let the Council know about your difficulty in navigating their website, as it is good to have feedback about people’s experiences?
The current status is that submissions have been received and the Council is deciding on its next steps.
      I hope that helps.
